The American Tapestry Biennial 8 has been at the American Textile History Museum now since late January. The last day to see it is May 1. Micala Sidore will present a lecture “Bodies of Work,” at 2 PM, so you have an extra incentive to visit that day.

American Tapestry Biennial 8

is coming to the American Textile History Museum , in Lowell, MA. TWiNE  members Janet Austin, Julia Mitchell, Eve Pearce, and Suzanne Pretty are among the 54 artists included in this international juried exhibit.  Suzanne Pretty won first prize. Although this exhibit comes around every 2 years, it has not traveled to New England since 2004, so don't miss it! There will be lectures and a tapestry demonstration during the exhibit, which will be up from January 22 - May 1, 2011.  Stay tuned for details.
