Until October 31, 2018 you can see a wonderful tapestry exhibit at Highfield Hall and Gardens in Falmouth, (Cape Cod) Massachusetts. 

This elegant mansion is the venue for Tapestry in New England and Beyond, an exhibit featuring many TWiNE members, and many of our friends from New England and beyond.




Highfield Hall and Gardens, a stick-style Queen Anne building, was built by the Beebe family of Boston in 1878, as a summer mansion. 



After the last family member died in 1932, the building was used by many groups for many purposes, but eventually was abandoned.

In 1994, after 20 years of neglect, the building was on the verge on demolition when a group of citizens formed Historic Highfield, a non-profit organization to save the mansion. 

It was 2007 before the restoration was complete.

The opening reception was on September 9th, and there was a great turnout of artists and members of the vibrant local arts community. You can see a list of artists, with images of their work here.
